Relleke Pumpkin Farm Field Trip 2015

On Friday Nolan and Carter's school took a field trip to Relleke Farms in Granite City.  Papa and Nana accompanied Nolan, Carter, Blake and myself for some extra hands.  It was a windy, chilly, cloudy day but we didn't let the weather get the best of us.  The boys had a great time playing with their classmates and taking in all the farm had to offer.

First off a wagon ride.  It was pretty dusty and windy.  I felt like I had a ton of dirt in my mouth but the boys enjoyed the ride.

Pony Rides!  Carter was hesitant at first and wanted Papa to walk beside him, but after a couple of circles he felt good enough to ride by himself.  Carter's pony was named Ronnie and Nolan's pony was named Spot.

Climbing around in Spider Town.  Hay bales, slides, and swings what more could a boy ask for to play on?

Time to feed the goats.  The boys were each given an ice cream cone filled with sweet feed.  Carter was super excited to feed the goats since he had so much fun with the goats during our last encounter at Grant's Farm.  Carter loves his goats!!!

Nolan loves having his face painted!  Nolan chose a ghost once again to be painted on his cheek!

It was almost snack time, so we let Blake have a little fun on the hay bales.  Blake thinks he is just as big as his brothers and has NO fear.  Blake did great crawling around on the hay bales and only attempted to put a few pieces in his mouth.

After snack we visited the Corn Bin.  This was the hit of the day.  The boys had a blast playing!!  Nolan hung out with his good friends Jackson, Augie, and Brendan.  Carter has mostly all girls in his class so he hung out with the older boys too.

Augie, the boy in the white, started jumping off the bales first.  He was even doing full front flips!  Thank goodness Nolan and Carter are not that big of dare devils.  The corn bin wore those boys out!!

Blake's turn to have fun in the corn.  This was a little more stressful because he kept trying to put the kernels in his mouth every second!  Needless to say, Blake wasn't allowed to stay in the corn very long.
