Santa only left a few cookie crumbs behind, so Nolan did a great job on his cookies! Of course, Nolan ate the left over crumbs. Only after eating the cookie crumbs, did Nolan see the presents and his stocking filled with goodies.
Santa built a barn for Nolan's tractors out of his new blocks
Boo boo dada, kiss it
Dada was surprised and loved his Kuerig!!
After all the presents were opened upstairs, we took Nolan and Carter down to the basement to see what Santa had left them. A huge playhouse!! Nolan loved it. Thanks Santa. The doorbell rings and Nolan thought this was cool.
Bill and I let Nolan play for a little bit while we loaded up the car to travel to G.G. and Papa Chesser's house. It was hard for Nolan to leave his toys, but we mentioned Papa and Nana and he jumped right into the car. Carter and I took a nap on the way up! We arrived at the Chesser's and Christmas was in full swing. We ate, opened presents, and played games. Oh what fun!!
Nolan handed presents out to every single person!!
After a game of Logos, The Young/Purcell clan had to say good bye because we had to go to Meme and Poppy's house for Christmas too. Nolan has lots of younger cousins to play with at Meme and Poppy's, so he was excited. Carter slept almost the entire time we were there, but woke up right before we left. He was exhausted!!
Finally after eating and playing again, we went back to Nana and Papa's house. The boys were once again showered with gifts! I don't think Nolan went to bed until 11:00!!
The day after Christmas, the family relaxed at Nana and Papa's house. Everyone took it easy and played with our new gadgets and toys. Nolan helped Papa do the chores and work in the shed. Nolan wore his new camo coveralls, snow boots, and gloves. Carter hung out inside playing with his new toys and on his new play mat.
Bath time for Nolan! His hair has gotten so long, I put it in a faux hawk.
Bill, Nolan, Carter, and myself had an amazing Christmas! Thank you to everyone who made us feel so loved. We still have two more Christmas celebrations to attend this weekend!! I don't know where we are going to put everything. Hopefully a new house is in the near future.
