Nolan's First Wedding

Saturday morning, we woke up, packed up the car, and were on the road by 7:30.  Bill needed to go to Nevco Saturday morning for a little bit, because they've been really busy during the week and needed to catch up on a few projects.  Nolan and I dropped Bill off and headed to Nana and Papa T's house to hang out while daddy was working.  After a few hours of work, Bill called and I went to pick him up.

Upon returning home, I went up to my old bedroom and found Nana reading to Nolan.  What a perfect picture opportunity.  Nolan loves to be read to.  I'm really glad Nollie likes to be read to because Bill and I both enjoy reading.  Hopefully, Nolan's interest in books continues to grow as he does.

Poot liked to help Nana turn the pages
The end of the book had a mirror in it.  Nollie didn't really know what to think.

After reading a book about bears, Nana decided to let Nolan hold one of my old bears.  Nolan really liked the soft bear.  He would smile and laugh every time someone rubbed the bear against his skin!  The bear is about as big as Nolan.  Finally, someone his size to pick on!!

Bill, Nolan, and I all took a little nap because we had  a wedding to go to later in the afternoon.  When we awoke from our cat nap, we started to get ready for the wedding.  Since we were all dolled up, I wanted to have some pictures taken, of course!!  It was SO hot outside!! The boys didn't complain though and smiled for the camera.

Because it was so hot outside, 95 degrees, I was worried about the church being warm with all the guests.  Of course, the church was about 87 degrees inside.  Nolan sweats a lot, so he was soaked by the end of the ceremony.  He did a great job though.  Not one peep and he even ate his bottle.  Everyone couldn't believe how good he was!!

Nolan has not met a lot of our friends, so it was a great opportunity for him to meet everyone.  Uncle Farmer had to get his hands on Poot as soon as he saw him!!  After the ceremony, we went to the reception.  Nolan was able to meet a few more people before he finished his bottle and fell asleep on my shoulder at 7:00, with the music blaring and everyone talking.  He was a tired little boy.  Nana and Uncle Jaron picked him up from the reception.  Bill and I had a great time visiting with friends we haven't seen for awhile.  Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Holtschulte!! The wedding was beautiful!!
