So Much to be Thankful for....

We started our Thanksgiving festivities off with a bang the Sunday before Thanksgiving at Great Gma and Gpa Chesser's house!  G.G. has held Thanksgiving Dinner the Sunday before Thanksgiving for the last several years, this way everyone is able to have dinner together and not rush around to different houses all in one day!!  Since everyone was in attendance this year, Aunt Julie wanted to take family pictures.  Needless to say, the pictures below were the best taken.  The pictures explain our crazy family to a T!!

The only way to console Nolan was to bring out the M&M dispenser.

The grandkids and great-grandkids with Gma and Gpa Chesser
Playing with the Locopousse.  The name of the train was a conversation piece at dinner!!  It was ordered from Germany for my cousin Broc when he was a toddler.

Bill and I went to work on Monday with full belly's from Sunday's dinner at Chesser's.  We were even more excited to have more meals to look forward to later in the week.

Thanksgiving Day is held at Aunt Natalie and Uncle Wade's house, so we went there for a delicious dinner and some desserts.  Carter slept most of the time, while Nolan played with his cousins.  A tradition with the Young family is to shoot clay pigeons after dinner.

Even though it was chilly the kiddos wanted to play outside!!

The wagon ride almost put Nolan to sleep

Ear protection for my little man!!
Mommy even shot a few rounds, but missed every clay pigeon.

After a few hours at Aunt Natalie and Uncle Wade's, we left for Gma and Gpa Funderburk's.  Grandma had delicious desserts waiting for us!  Nolan had a blast playing with all of his cousins, especially Bailey who gave him lots of attention.  Carter chilled in everyone's arms.

At the end of Thanksgiving Day the boys, including Bill, were exhausted so we stayed at Papa and Nana's overnight.  Friday we went back home for the day and awoke Saturday to travel to Gpa and Gma Purcell's for one more Thanksgiving Dinner.

I made Bill practice his smile and told him I would put this on the blog.  I don't think he believed I would!! :)

Like the title of my blog post, I have so much to be thankful for.  Not only do I have the love and support from my amazing husband, but the love and support of my two beautiful healthy sons.  These three boys bring so much joy and happiness into my life each and every single day and for this I am most thankful.  I am also thankful for the love and encouragement my family gives to me each and every day!  I am thankful for Bill's family and the family they have become to me as well.  Lastly,  I cannot forget to be thankful for Stella because of the sillines and joy she brings out in Nolan.

Happy Thanksgiving 2012!
