Nolan's 3 Month Pictures

Nolan had his 3 Month Pictures taken March 25th.  They turned out really good!! Nolan did a great job. He smiled, laughed, and cooed the entire time.  Here are a few of the pictures, so that family can download them and print them off!!  Stay tuned for the adventurous Easter pictures we have planned for this weekend.

My Future's So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades......

With all of the sunshine we have been having lately, Nolan has acquired some new sunglasses.  I must say he looks absolutely adorable in them, even though they're a little too big still.  The red sunglasses are compliments of Nana, and the zebra sunglasses are compliments of Kellerman Dental!!  Nolan doesn't mind wearing them at all.  He just kicks back and looks cool....

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

I want to wish my amazing husband and a great father the best birthday possible.  Bill, you truly make every day a great and loving adventure and I cannot wait to spend another 80 birthdays with you. I love you.

Today Bill turned 26 years old!! Almost 30..... I had my good friend, Tiffany, make a onesie for Nolan to wear that said, "Happy Birthday Daddy" on the front and "26" on the back.  Nolan looked adorable and Bill was surprised as well.  Thanks Tiffany for doing such a great job!!

This morning Grandma Donna and Grandpa Rick took us out to eat for breakfast at Cracker Barrel.  Yummy!!  Later this afternoon, Nana, Papa T, and the rest of the gang are coming down to take us out to eat for dinner.  We are definitely being pampered today!!

Baby it's BEAUTIFUL Outside

What a great week we had at the Purcell household.  The weather was amazing and it put everyone in a great mood!  Nolan was sweating like a little boy, so I convinced Bill to turn on the AC Friday afternoon.  THANK GOODNESS...... I took some pictures of Bill and Nolan playing.  The pictures were taken before the AC was turned on, hence Nolan hanging out in his diaper.  Nollie loves his daddy SO MUCH!! They have such a good time together.  The funny word this week was "seriously."  Every time Bill said seriously, this is the reaction Nollie gave him......SMILES!!

Bill was grilling out Wednesday, so I decided to take Nolan out to see his daddy.  This was the first time Nolan has been outside without being in his car seat.  Nolan sat in the grass for the first time and he didn't know what to think about it. The faces he made were priceless.  I took him out again on Friday, we laid on the blanket under the shade tree for a little bit. The sun was really bright, so even in the shade he was squinting.  Nana bought Nolan some sunglasses, but they're still a little too big for him to wear.

 Nolan is now grasping and holding his toys.  He enjoys playing with his rattle because of the bright colors and loud noise it makes.  He will shake the rattle, stare at it, and then laugh out loud.  Over and over and over again.

Bill and Nolan just hanging out watching TV.  They reminded me of monkeys the way Nolan was sitting on Bill, so I had to take a picture.
 

Since Nolan has been holding his head up good, we decided to try his Around the World Saucer again.  He enjoyed the noises and colors, but his reactions were again priceless.  I would love to know what he is thinking.

 I think Bill and I have outdone ourselves with the April Fools Joke this year!! I have never been really good at fooling people, but the BIG brother shirt worked great!  The census seemed to be that everyone who read the blog became so overwhelmed they didn't finish scrolling down to read the "APRIL FOOLS" written at the bottom.  Needless to say I had a few erratic voicemails with people freaking out and then at the end of the message saying, "you got me good!! I didn't scroll down all of the way."  So I just want to apologize to those who almost had a heart attack!! LOL  We will be telling this story many years to come.

For future reference, I did not have the shirt made they are just alphabet stickers stuck on a onesie.  That way the onesie can be reused!!

We got you good!!

Can you believe this beautiful weather we are having!?!  Just last Monday it was snowing!!  I don't want to jinx it, but we have officially transferred Nolan's winter clothes down to the basement for storage.  We have moved the clothes down to the basement for two reason, one being its warmer outside and two being he has outgrown ALL of his winter clothes!! I know I say this every week, but he is growing so much.  He has his 4 month check up on the 28th and I'm super excited to see how much he has changed.

Since Nolan has outgrown his clothes, I had to make a shopping trip!! I went to Old Navy, of course, and found great deals! It's a good thing I bought him some shorts because today it was 80 degrees.  Grandpa Bill, Mary, and Rebecca stopped by on Saturday to visit and brought Nolan some adorable outfits as well.  Nana went shopping and bought Nollie a whole new summer wardrobe too!! Nolan is pretty much good to go in the clothes department, but I'm sure I will have to go shopping for special occasions!! ;)

Bill and I play a game with Nollie that we call STRETCH!! We pull his arms up and say STRETCH in a silly voice.  I know, pretty original, but Nolan loves it! Here is Bill playing it with Nolan.

It was so warm today, we had to strip Nolan down as the day went on.  He started out in his shirt and shorts, but by the end of the day ended up in his diaper!!

Plus One Makes FOUR!!

Bill and I are excited to tell you we're expecting another new addition to our family! Nolan is very excited to be a BIG brother!  We've always wanted a big family, so we decided we better start early!!
